Ingredients for 1 tray
- 250g All Purpose Flour
- 100g Brown Sugar
- 4g teaspoon Baking Soda
- Pinch of Salt
- Light grating of Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
- 180 ml plant based milk
- 60ml vegetable oil (canola, sunflower, melted vegan butter)
- 5g Vanilla Extract
- 30g Apple Sauce / Finely grated apple
Steps
- Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon into a bowl.
- Add the sugar and mix well.
- Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the bowl.
- Add the apple sauce to the batter and mix well.
- Divide the batter into as many muffin cases as the batter will fill.
- Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.
