This very simple pea soup is everything you need after a long day in the coldness of this world. It tastes fresh, which is an achievement considering it is made from frozen peas!

Ingredients for 5 servings
- 500g frozen peas
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1.5 tablespoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons marjoram
- salt and pepper to taste
Optionally add
- chili powder to taste
Steps
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium high heat and add your garlic, finely chopped.
- After the garlic has a some color, add the paprika powder.
- Do not cook the dry paprika for too long as it will become bitter.
- Quickly add the frozen peas and mix.
- Sauteé the peas for about a minute and then pour in boiling water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Finish with the marjoram and season with salt and pepper to taste.
